Women’s Surf Clinics
The Surf Diva Women’s Clinics are THE original Surf Diva teaching program since 1996. After all these years, this women’s clinic is still our favorite class to introduce women to surfing or improve their skills in an encouraging learning environment year-round. The Women’s clinic is held at La Jolla Shores beach and gets you the foundation of surfing etiquette, ocean awareness, and basic techniques to get your surfing journey started.

Level 1 Clinic: Finding Your Feet
2-Day Clinic
For those new to surfing, our beginner clinic is the perfect introduction to the sport. Under the guidance of our experienced and encouraging instructors, you’ll learn the fundamentals of surfing, including:
Surf Safety: Understanding ocean conditions, tides, and how to stay safe in the water.
Paddling Techniques: Mastering the art of paddling to catch those perfect waves.
Pop-Up Practice: Learning how to pop up on your board and maintain your balance.
Wave Etiquette: Understanding the unspoken rules of the lineup to ensure a respectful and fun experience of everyone

Level 2 Clinics: Building Confidence
1-Day Clinic
For surfers who have already completed level 1 and mastered the basics, our intermediate clinic focuses on refining your skills and building confidence in the water. Highlights include:
Wave Selection: Learning how to read the waves and choose the best ones to ride.
Turning Techniques: Practicing maneuvers such as bottom turns and cutbacks to navigate the wave.
Stance and Balance: Improving your stance to maintain control and stability on your board.
Surf Fitness: Developing strength and endurance to enhance your surfing performance.
